Mindfulness-based Psychotherapy & Gestalt Practice

These two modalities work together with somatic awareness and experiencing to facilitate growth and healing. Learning to be with the moment can empower us to not only move through challenges and the unknown, but also inspire us to move towards our values and aspirations.

This is where inspiration for the name “Empowering Presence, LLC” came from – presence is both a means and an outcome. As we trust (or empower) presence to help us heal and grow, our senses of clarity and confidence can grow (we may feel more empowered!). Or said another way, as we practice presence, we often feel more empowered to be present to meet this moment, just as we are, trusting that we have the inner wisdom and practical tools to manage life’s challenges and changes.

How we Work

Trauma-informed care supports growth of compassion, curiosity and resilience to help you navigate life’s challenges as well as foster confident self-expression and authentic connection with others.

A lot of mindful presence and compassion supports this process.

And sometimes it helps to connect with our powerful inner-knowing and inner-strength. As we get more comfortable with accessing this strength, we can grow more confident with knowing what we want, expressing ourselves, setting relational boundaries, and pursuing the changes we want to experience.
